• More space for a bigger home

Acreage living has many advantages, but first and foremost it offers more space than standard homesites. More space for a bigger home, more space to play and more space for growing families.

Discover a more peaceful way of life at the Crossing. A lifestyle that offers the chance to escape the fast pace of the city and connect with family and friends in an environment that's altogether more relaxed and laid-back. And what makes The Crossing unique is its tranquil riverside location and close proximity to Ipswich and Brisbane CBD. If you have ever thought about acreage living, but thought it was too hard then think again. The Crossing could be the greatest lifestyle change you will ever make!

If you are new to acreage living, here's some FAQs about The Crossing

Does The Crossing have connected power, water and sewerage?

Yes. Acreage homesites at the Crossing are fully serviced, offering town water, power and sewerage connections.

Can I use my own builder?

You bet. You can use whom you wish to build your new dream home.
But if you need some help, we also have a range of specialist acreage builders we can refer you to.

How close will my neighbours be?

The average street frontage in the Stage One release will be 32m, offering the perfect blend of privacy and peace of mind for your security.

Is there a timeframe that we have to build on the land?

There is no time frame when you must construct your home. However, total construction time for a dwelling is not to exceed twelve months
from the commencement of construction.

Will the NBN network be available?

The Crossing will be NBN ready.

Does the estate have covenants to abide by?

Yes. The Crossing has "Building and Design Covenants" designed to maintain a high standard of housing, consistency and conform to sustainability goals within the estate. This allows purchasers to choose any builder of their choice.

When can I start building my new home?

This will depend on when settlement occurs and you take possession of the land. Once you take possession of the land and have received council and covenant approval for your new home, construction can commence.

Has the land been affected by recent flooding?

No. The Crossing will be constructed above the Q100 flood level and was not adversely affected by the recent flooding in January 2011.
